Eight faculty members received mini grants through the Loveland Schools Foundation for the school year 2012-2013. These competitive grants were given to teachers to fund creative projects which could not be funded through the regular channels of school finance. Selections were made on the innovative ideas of teachers to create a superior learning environment for students in the classroom. For many years, Loveland Schools have produced outstanding graduates who have achieved excellence in their lives and have had a great impact on their communities, society and the lives of others. It is the purpose of the Loveland Schools Foundation to identify these individuals, recognize them and to make current Loveland students, employees and the community at large aware of their leadership qualities and the excellence in their personal and professional lives.
It is with pleasure that the Foundation announces the recipients of the 2013 Distinguished Alumnus Awards. Ms. Valerie Newell, Loveland High School Class of 1971, Peter A. Patterson, Esq., Class of 1997, Mr. Mike Taylor, Loveland Class of 1962, and Mr. Jerry Wood, Class of 1951, will be honored and receive their awards at a banquet to be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Montgomery Inn, Montgomery, OhIo. |
The 15th Annual Loveland High School Athletic Boosters Annual Golf Outing will be held MONDAY, JULY 29 at The Oasis Golf Club & Conference Center, in Loveland. This year’s event will include:
- An 18-hole scramble format, on the beautiful, championship links of The Oasis Golf Club
- Unlimited use of the Practice Range and Putting Green, before the event
- Putting contest for a $200 gift card to The Oasis Pro Shop
- New this year, on the veranda overlooking the scenic golf course, we will be offering a buffet lunch….burgers, bratwurst, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, cookies, ice tea, lemonade, pop, and beer will all be available, and is included in the registration fee! (Read More...)
